Re-capturing the smell, texture, sound, and rhythm of a moment - From concept to material construction, I create a varied series of works that piece together my fractured sense of identity on canvas, wood panel, silk, or cardboard. For detail and depth I embellish with stitching, beading, photo-collage, found objects, and occasionally allow the wood stretchers to complete the composition.
